Exposition au Brésil

"In the Footsteps of the Little Prince" (Pegadas do Pequeno Príncipe) is an exhibition created in Brazil and held in Rio de Janeiro from 3 October to 17 December 2023. It will then move to São Paulo in April 2024, where it will remain for three months.

"Pegadas do Pequeno Principe" is part of the Living Books project, which aims to present great works of literature in content-rich immersive experiences. The first of these books is The Little Prince.

Organised by Mônica Cristina Corrêa, a Brazilian specialist in French literature, the exhibition was opened in the presence of Roselyne de Giraud d'Agay Sartre and Sophie de Giraud d'Agay Halleux, both members of the Saint Exupéry estate.

The exhibition allows visitors to follow in the footsteps of the young hero and discover the original text of The Little Prince. They can also discover the book's watercolours and the author's biography, making numerous links between this masterpiece and the author's previous books.

Speaking at the opening, Roselyne de Giraud d'Agay Sartre, daughter of François d'Agay, Saint Exupéry's nephew, said: "This is a unique and rich experience that will live long in Brazilian memories, and will enable everyone to gain a deeper understanding of the life of an extraordinary writer.
